When the day comes who will be Neal's successor at Berean. Will it be one of his son's or a staff member or somebody else? Who holds the keys to the kingdom?

Greg neal all the way. Dr. Neal has even said only one of his son's could only handle it.

God will decide, they will elect a pulpit committee and the committee will pray God's man in and then the church will follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and will vote in God's man.

    Anyone Disagree?

Of course, they will pray about it and it'll be one of the "kids". Nepotism is OK as long as you "pray" about it first

The Bible often talks of believers being fishers (to attract or lure) and harvesters (to nurture and gather), but never as hunters (stalking the unsuspecting).Words are finite organs of the infinite mind. They cannot cover the dimensions of what is in truth. They break, chop, and impoverish it.

Most anyone who is familiar with that brand of fundamentalism & Tom Neal will disagree, for sure.

I disagree. Out of worship ....uh I mean "respect" for our beloved former pastor, we don't need to pray since our pastor has told us God's will for the church. We appoint the pastor's chosen successor who happens to be related to our former pastor.

From what I have heard from friends that still go there. There was no pulpit commitee, no praying by the decons no nothing. Dr. Neal got up in the pulpit and made the announcement that he chose his son to be the co-pastor (that is in effect right now). He said that years back he made the decision, and that now was the right time to put in in effect. Theres your answer
