Why, anyone with any sense knows that the Bible prescribes the way to get a pastor is through pulpit committees, trial sermons, and democratic vote, for sure!

Well there was a vote in the church, Dr. Tom Neal said he was for it and that members should vote yes. But there was NO pulpit committee, no candidates, it was said by Dr. Neal himself that his son was handpicked by himself. Plus I heard that the people who voted no were checked up on, and said "anyone who would vote no, disagrees with Dr. Tom Neal, therefore he is not right with God or Dr. Neal"
Well, I guess somebody from these forums needs to take Dr. Tom Neal aside and show him what the Bible says about setting up pulpit committees and bringing in candidates. He must have missed that in his Bible study.
