I hardly ever comment on here - but I had to with this statement. I went to the church for almost 10 years...graduated from there - went to HAC 2 years and then went to BBC for the remainder. I NEVER saw Tom Neal "out on the streets sharing the gospel"...he sent everyone else to do the work for him. If you ever really catch his sermons - he never tells of soulwinning experiences either. I understand he is suppose to teach his followers to do so...but he NEVER went out.

And I am one that actually hates the man. He (and his empire) destroyed my family. Thankfully 7 years later - our family has managed to put itself back together. He is not God...in so many words that's how we were taught. I have learned in my adult life that my God is more loving and forgiving.

Not a hater, but don't think it is appropriate for a man to use "Dr." in his title if it is only honorary rather than earned! That title does not belong to him and cheapens those who have worked for their degree!!

You must not be talking of the same Tom Neal that I am talking of, because he NEVER went to the 'hedges and highways' - his followers did though...just listen to his sermons (he doesn't talk of any experiences)

I am going to have to agree with ex-bereanite on that for the most part. I attended there for years. We would have BIG soul winning marathons, I neved did see him out there. Now did he? I don't know personally but I would usually see him around his office while the grass root workers would pass the tracts out. If you are defending Berean in here, you are either a Bereanite (If you are, you should not be in here because it is talked against and banned there and you are going against THE man of God) or you simply on the outside looking in, and don't know what you are talking about
