View Full Version : What happened to the TBC Underground? BASSENCO 06-30-2006, 08:19 AM It's disappeared. Anybody know what happened? LoneVoice 06-30-2006, 11:03 AM His last entry there said he was closing it down to pursue other interests as well as concentrate on the other blogs he is involved with. BASSENCO 06-30-2006, 11:17 AM Thanks for the update! AmazedbyGrace 07-03-2006, 12:29 AM But all of his blogs are gone and he is no longer listed as a contributor on the Pyromaniac site. I hope everything is okay. I sure will miss him. Reading his blogs helped me A LOT. :( Invictus 07-05-2006, 11:03 AM Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church #2 P.O. Box #49 Golden, Tx 75444 903-768-2753 James Spurgeon, Pastor A couple days before he disappeared, I am fairly sure he said he said he was not going to stay as pastor there, but work on writing and some other things. It was very vague. He was a real encouraging voice, even with all the negativity of the people from TBC attacking him. James, come out and show yourself. I am under the impression, from what others have said, that he is going into home construction. Seems to me like the guy was carrying around a LOT of baggage and it eventually wore him down. Sherryh 07-25-2006, 10:17 PM He was an encouragement to me and always a blessing. I wish him and his family well. God bless them in whatever they may do. He is a gifted writer! Martin Luther Hyles 07-28-2006, 03:50 PM Yes he has gone into the construction business, and he is promoting his book. He has intimated to me some intention of embarking on formal seminary training. Last time I was over at his office he was looking for an accredited undergraduate program that would give him extensive credit for knowledge already attained and for his efforts at TBC. A real bachelor's degree in 18 to 24 months was something he talked about. But we haven't talked in a few months. AmazedbyGrace 10-11-2006, 12:31 AM I hope he does pursue seminary training. I really miss his blog. Martin Luther Hyles 10-11-2006, 12:59 PM I talked to him on the phone last month. Working at construction. Seemed preoccupied. No response to an email last week. developing. MLH BigRedGum 11-19-2006, 05:17 PM Any updates on Coyote/Spurgeon? Martin Luther Hyles 11-19-2006, 05:29 PM got email response last week. Hard at work in his business. More to come. |
