It's disappeared. Anybody know what happened?

His last entry there said he was closing it down to pursue other interests as well as concentrate on the other blogs he is involved with.

But all of his blogs are gone and he is no longer listed as a contributor on the Pyromaniac site.

I hope everything is okay.

I sure will miss him. Reading his blogs helped me A LOT.

James Spurgeon, Pastor

A couple days before he disappeared, I am fairly sure he said he said he was not going to stay as pastor there, but work on writing and some other things. It was very vague. He was a real encouraging voice, even with all the negativity of the people from TBC attacking him.

James, come out and show yourself.

I am under the impression, from what others have said, that he is going into home construction.

Seems to me like the guy was carrying around a LOT of baggage and it eventually wore him down.

He was an encouragement to me and always a blessing. I wish him and his family well. God bless them in whatever they may do. He is a gifted writer!

Yes he has gone into the construction business, and he is promoting his book. He has intimated to me some intention of embarking on formal seminary training. Last time I was over at his office he was looking for an accredited undergraduate program that would give him extensive credit for knowledge already attained and for his efforts at TBC. A real bachelor's degree in 18 to 24 months was something he talked about. But we haven't talked in a few months.

I hope he does pursue seminary training. I really miss his blog.

I talked to him on the phone last month. Working at construction. Seemed preoccupied. No response to an email last week.

developing.
