About a staff member that was there in the 80's maybe early 90's. His name was Jim Fleck. What is he doing now and what is he up too. I think he was on staff I may be wrong about that.
Also I met a missionary Kelly Daniel. Did he ever make it to the field? How is he doing?

Flecks daughter is in hammond, and kelly daniel can be seen on the LBT website.

Kelly and his family are missionaries to Costa Rica. I have gotten a couple of emails from them and some pix. Looks like they are doing well.

The reason I asked about Fleck, Is I am going to visit Liberty and was wondering if he was still LBT or if he has changed. I do not want to get into another IFB church that is like LBT.

I have not been to Liberty, but I know of several families, former LBT members, and some who never set foot in LBT, that attend there. From what I know, it is a very nice church. If you want any more information, I suggest you PM.

I think you might have some Landmarkers down there. I don't know, but I think it says ABA on the sign. The closest church to my house is a Mormon Temple. I can throw a rock across my fence into my neighbor's pool. The third closest church to my house is Liberty. I can throw a rock at the church, but it would be the wrong church to throw rocks at.

There is a new Schlotzkys going in across the street, so it is probably a good fit. Hope you do well there.

Ted, ever eat at Jason's? Of course you have, that place is popularo! I think I only ate there once in Longview, but I ate there often in Charlotte. A deli with an ice cream machine...oh and a TV. I loved to go there on my lunch break from OnStar and watch an hours worth of a Braves' game!

I seem to remember hearing about Liberty in Longview, but I don't remember much. Where is that church?

When I first came to LBT, I didn't know where it was on the loop so my dad and I got off I -20 at the east side of town and drove all the way to LBT looking hard at every single church we passed to see if that was it. I remember seeing the Super 1 first and being relieved that we finally found it. Boy that loop is long when you've never been on it before and don't know where you are going! More good times with dad. :-)
